My family and long term friends say, "If she sets her mind to doing something, she will succeed." My father said that to me once, when I tried to quit smoking in my 20's. I said, "Dad, I just don't know if I can do it." He said, "Honey, I know you. There has never been anything in your life you have been determined to do, that you did not succeed in doing."
